See You At the Pole 2006

Client: Fremont Community Church

Part of my job as Graphics/Publications Artist at Fremont Community Church was to support the church’s Student Ministries position.  One of my first tasks was to create a logo and print material for the annual See You At The Pole rally, which gathered students from all over the south bay of Northern California for a night of prayer and worship before being challenged to pray over their high school campuses during this national event.  This particular design was forwarded on to the National offices and then picked as the logo and theme for the 2007 National campaign.

For almost 30 years, the folks at New Wrinkles have been entertaining sold-out audiences at Fresno City College. It’s an eclectic group of 55 and older who spend much of their springtime dancing and singing in preparation for the show that has come to be known as “one of the year’s top 20 arts and cultural offerings.”

In 2008, I “bellied up to the bar” at Knott’s Berry Farm’s Calico Saloon and found myself taking on the role of their pianist, “Fingers.” The shows featured a fun mix of piano accompaniment in the style of the old-time saloons, along with some acting & singing.
